Happy 5 months old to ME!

Good morning! Today is my 5 month birthday! Party time! I guess no one told the 'rents it was party day because they so did not look happy when I woke up at 6:45 ready for the day :-) hehe I am sooo funny!

Of course mommy had to take a picture of me, so here I am smiling in the kitchen, notice the lights...because it is still dark out!

I do not have to go to the house of pain this month - woo hoo! See why I am celebrating, but that means no weight check either, mommy is bummed about that because she wants to know how much "my chunky monkey behind weighs."

Speaking of monkeys this week has begun (drumroll please) ....BANANAS!!! They are sooo awesome. I am sure there will be pictures of that too, no worries my fans.

Well let me go and make sure Mommy gets my party gear together. Today is also my Mommy & Daddy's 4th wedding anniversary so I am getting shipped off again to Auntie Jamie and Uncle Brandon's house and Mommy told me to make sure I do not get any ugly Carolina stuff near my cutie NCSU self.

Fall + Big Boy Pants!

Now that Fall has arrived with the cooler weather Mommy and I went shopping to get me some much needed fall clothes! We went to Old Navy and Target and so far I have some new corduroy pants and jeans that look like my Daddy's and lots of new tops! I also got a present from Alecia and B who came to see me after the State game. It had three new long sleeve shirts and two pair of pants! I am rocking the big boy clothes now and can I just say it must be working, I am one cute chick magnet!

This weather is so great, walks aren't so hot and I don't have meltdowns as much since I am not sweating in my stroller and car seat - WE HEART FALL WEATHER!

Lake Baby!

Finally Mommy helped me get the pictures up from our lake trip awhile back. I had so much fun! We sat on the porch and just looked at the water and then after lunch we went out for a spin in the boat and I even "jumped" in to swim! Daddy and Uncle Jare held on to me while I kicked my legs, it was so fun. As you can see from the pictures we had quite a time although I was not a fan of the life jacket.

Happy Face!

My shirt pretty much sums up the look on my face! BORN RED...ENOUGH SAID! I did it again - Wolfpack attire and a BIG WIN for the Pack! I got to spend the night with my Mema & Gramps in Wilson Friday night since the football game was so early (noon, silly parents) and then I watched the game with my Gramps while Mommy and Daddy watched at Carter Finley Stadium. I mean one of these days can I come too? I am a lucky charm - duh :-)

Anyways, I have been up to a lot and I will have Mommy post some more pictures later. I have gone swimming in the lake, found my feet (hello why didn't anyone show me sooner?) and love to dance and boogie on down to music not to mention I have my very own iPod and docking station in my room so I can fall asleep to it, how cool is that?

Well time for bed.

Cheap Thrills

Well I am almost 5 months old now and have finally been able to put my thumb in my mouth. It's way cool, also I can not believe no one told me about red plastic cups - THEY ARE GREAT!!!

Other news I am still sleeping through the night and can scoot toward a toy if I am put on my belly. I love to laugh and to take baths. I still can make car rides fun but I am getting better :-)

My face tells the story! Day 3 on squash and I am loving it! I can open my mouth when the spoon comes near me and eat cereal in the morning and squash at night. Mommy says I can start sweet potatoes soon! I am soo excited!

Food, Football and Hanna (the Hurricane)

Well all in all it was a pretty great weekend! I survived my very first Hurricane with just a lot of rain and some wind, but after our rainy ride to Wilson Friday night, it cleared up for dinner so we went out for Italian with Gramps and Mema.

Saturday morning we had lunch with Uncle Jare, Gigi and Hootie and it was so nice we even sat outside! Then went to go get ready for the game. I finally got my wolfpack attire on and was shipped off so my parents could go to the game...but guess what? I am a lucky charm or it could be that mommy said they took out Daniel Evans but hey I can be lucky too! I am sooo wearing my wolfpack gear every game now!

On Sunday Daddy wasn't feeling well, Mommy said he had too much fun at the game :-), so I went shopping with Mommy instead. It wasn't so bad because I got a pretty cool trick or treat bag from PBK and we looked for some fall outfits for me.

Well that's it from my weekend!

I am loving this rice cereal stuff. It is GREAT! I can't believe I had to wait so long to get my hands on it.
