Becoming a Daddy...12/19/2008

It's Happy Birthday time!! I am sure you know how to party it up since Mommy says you are the reason I have a bottle 'thing'.  Thanks for being a pretty awesome Uncle, even though I haven't been able to spend the night in awhile since the new kid came to town :-) It's okay though, I'll forgive you.  You've had a pretty big year last year...Uncle in April, a Daddy in December. Let's not have a repeat huh? ;)  Mommy said that Conner can come to a sleep over soon with me, so you get Auntie Jamie a weekend away and give us a call. I can promise I WILL show him his toes and that special bottles are fun to grab on when people are drinking. Thanks for showing me the ropes.

9 MONTHS OLD!

Wow, time sure does fly by fast. I am now 3 months away from being one years old and not a baby anymore.  I went to the house of pain on Monday but it was totally cool, NO SHOTS :-)

I am learning, growing, and developing a funny personality too!

I like to FLIRT with all the girls, sorry guys you have to work for it

I pretend I'm shy just to get you to laugh

I love when Daddy comes home from work

I am a ham for the camera

I love to drag out all my toys on one level and play with them

I can army crawl like no other!

I can stand unassisted for a few seconds before I have to grab back on to the coffee table

still no other words, but babble a LOT in the crib (doc says 2 or 3 words by 1 year)

I LOVE going to NCSU games (see you at the big game Saturday Hoot) :-)

I have lots of "dates" with mommy's friends. They all LOVE me and it's mutual! 

now onto my favorite...FOOD!

I got the okay to start yogurt (YO BABY) and yo baby...it's good!!!

I sorta like pasta, wish it had something yummy on it though

baby cheetos are awe-some!

blueberry muffins (sans blueberries) are super duper - thanks daddy!

I can gum anything since I am still one cool GUMMY BABY...nope no teeth yet :)

yes...I still eat "baby" food. Stage 2 and 3 but I get big people food mixed in

Yay!

Check out my new talent...that's right folks I can clap! Just say Yay really loud and I start clapping :-) It is usually followed after they make me wave bye-bye even if we aren't going anywhere. So it's finally Friday which I've heard everyone say of the longest week EVER! I have no clue because I played like normal and partied like normal and have been practicing bye-bye, clapping and the sign for please, which Mommy figured out is not good with food on my hands!

Anyhoo...today is also my daddy's last day at NCSU. We are excited that he gets a new job and it has better benefits for me (whatever that means). He starts his new job on Monday!

Let it SNOW

Well I had another first today! This stuff came out of the sky that everyone was calling snow. It was pretty awesome. I only got to go out for a little bit since I still have a cold but I sure had fun! I may have tried to eat some :-) no worries it was not yellow!

All adults talk funny, Funny faces too!, Dogs like to lick you, it doesn't end, it is fun to be held, try screaming it works for me :), toys are the greatest, i'll let you borrow some of mine, sleepovers with Mema & Gramps are FUN, we'll have to try it together sometime (ha!)

CHUNKY MONKEY BATMAN!

Went to the house of pain today (no shots!) but I am feeling a little under the weather these days and mommy wanted to take me to make sure no ear infection, etc...so 20 bucks later and all smiles for the nurses and doctor I just have a really bad cold :-) Gotta love me!

Anyhooo....back to my chunky monkey status...I now weigh in at 19 pounds!!

Baby Conner came to visit us last night to eat pizza...well he had milk but MY Mommy sure held him A LOT but I got to play with Uncle Brandon *get concussion* and get some lovin' from my favorite Auntie, although I am still a teeny bit mad at her because she couldn't hold me for awhile but I let her give me kisses anyways!

Spoiled??

Nah, just LOVED!

Christmas 08 was a fun, family filled event with LOTS of places to go and people that I've never met before. I of course racked up majorly because of my cuteness factor! I heard Mama say to people that clothes was okay because my 1st birthday is in a few months, lucky for me they were all SUCKERS to buy me TOYS!!!

I am so having fun playing with all my new stuff and Mama is having fun putting me in my new clothes that she thought wouldn't fit for awhile...hehe guess it was all that turkey I ate :-)

Some recent stuff I'm up to:
I am now in 12 months clothes on some stuff which means shopping again...grr!
I can get up on my knees and propel my way to an object. A few more days and I'll be G.O.N.E.!
I can say "he(y)" with or without the y is optional, it's the south right?
have said "dada" but never say that when they ask ~ gotta keep 'em on their toes!
I LUB my new cousin and want to rub him whenever I can.
I squeal REALLY REALLY loud :-)
I eat 5 jars of baby food and rice cereal a day (oink oink)
I dig walking around with someone holding my hands

I have been in/to 5 whole states & lots of cities-

North Carolina (well duh) - Wilmington, Morehead City & Atlantic Beach

Virginia - the whole state on the way to Maryland and Clarksville to the lake house
South Carolina - just driving through on the way to see Miss Alisa
Georgia - Savannah!

Maryland - Lots of cities that Uncle Davey took us too!

Wow, that's a big update so now it's nap time for me. Hope you enjoyed catching up on my adventures and loot! This weekend I am spending the night with BOTH sets of grandparents :-) Knightdale Friday night and Wilson Saturday night...Mommy & Daddy are going to celebrate their old neighbor and friends' 30th Birthday!

On the road again...

Wow, that was one long ride :-) We left Thursday afternoon to Maryland to see Dave & Annie. It was FUN! We played, went some places and just hung out. The ride back wasn't so bad either after we got past the traffic in DC and I did AWESOME but was ready to be out of the car by the time we got home.

Here's what I did for most of the ride...zzzzz :-) Today we are just hanging around the house before Daddy goes back to work tomorrow. Hope everyone had a Happy New Year!
