Woooooo Woooooo

I got to be a mini fireman for the day (okay, more like 20 minutes) with my Hootie. We had lots of fun! First I toured inside {YAWN} I threw all the magazines on the ground, tried to kill myself with an old fire extinguisher, and of course played with the remotes.  Then it was off to the land of big shiny red trucks. Sah-weet!

Day in the life (remixed)

I get dropped off in the morning, play, eat breakfast for the second time (wicked awesome I tell you) so far we've had french toast sticks, cinnamon rolls and biscuits with jelly. Let's just say my daily report card ALWAYS says that I ate ALL my breakfast! hehe.  Next is outside time, then circle time, then we read books then it's lunch time. I am not so much loving the lunch, let's just say it ain't like Mama fixes :-). Then it's off to play a little more while the pretty ladies clean up the grossness of 8 little One year olds eating at a big boy table.  At 12 o'clock we go down for nap and it is supposed to last until 2:30, but since I am still not used to the one nap and eating lunch early I am up WAAAAYYY before 2:30 and then get really sleepy later.  Afternoon is full of more playtime, learning, circle time with songs and outside time again, and afternoon snack (which I also love!). I am super exhausted by the time I get picked up but am having fun making new friends. The 'rents have been slightly stalking the web cam just to check in on me and making sure I am wearing the brightest color EVAH!

Well that's all about my day. I sooo can't wait until the weekend comes though. I miss hanging out at home with all my toys. Good thing I am staying up until 7 now so I can get some Mommy & Daddy loving in and still have time to play, eat GOOD dinner, take a walk and have a bath (which is needed every. single. night. not that I mind.)

Rollin' Ones

I made it!

One Year and One Month Old or 13 months in House of Pain terms :-) No doctor's visit this month, I do not have to go again until I am 15 months old. Whoop!

Tomorrow is also my VERY first day of daycare. Please think of me as I go into the great unknown of new buddies, toy stealing, paci sharing, but lots of lovin' (I have THREE teachers!), and then there is the secret camera set up so the parents can peek in on their precious little ones AKA Me. No worries, I'll be sure to wave, you know before I bite someone. Just kidding...sorta. Wonder what they do if I get in trouble? Guess we'll find out soon enough. Now that I am cutting major teeth, I am having a hard time not to naw on the closest person I see :-)

Technical difficulties...

...not mine, yours apparently :-)

some peeps, who shall remain nameless could not get the private thing to work, so since I am sooo sweet, we are going to leave it open to the public for awhile so everyone can get their daily fix of lil' ole me!  I know, you just LUB me, dontcha? 

On other BIG SUPER news, Mommy got a job back in her old field, so I'm going to be chillin', learning, and playing at a SAH-WEET place down the street from us which according to the 'rents is  a mortgage payment reasonable. I am sorta bummed though, because I am going to really really miss my Mommy! Daddy is on drop off duty for awhile 'cause we aren't sure if Mommy will actually leave me, 'cause would you leave my so cute it hurts behind anywhere? Yeah, me neither! After 13 months and 1 day, it'll be a HUGE change, but I will keep you updated, pinky promise.

160th and reminder

yesterday was my 160th post! holy macaroni that's a bunch of posts!! So in honor of that I am going to tell you 16 things about ME! I can't even count to 160, duh!

1. I am NEVER EVER still, except when I sleep. 

2. the 'rents want to "borrow" a sign from Holden Beach for my room

3. I wore preemie clothes for awhile

4. my monkey lovie goes where I go

5. I have a ton of toys but usually play with the balls and blocks

6. I have been a lot of places for being so little

7. I was the first grandchild born on both sides

8. I have one great great grandmother

9. I have 4 great grandmothers and 3 great grandfathers

10. I became a big cousin at 8 months

11. There were three baby boys born into my daddy's side of the family in one year

12. my parents lived in a three story townhouse when I was born

13. I started crawling/walking, the for sale sign went up :-)

14. I love all things CHEESE...grilled cheese, cheese toast, cheese sticks...you get the idea

15. I have a large cabeza. (all these brains have to go somewhere!)

16. I look like Daddy and Uncle Jare.

Moving on UP...

That's right folks, I'm moving on up into size 4 diapers!

 The rents' have been SQUEEZING my cheeks ;-) into size 3 for awhile now (cause they bought the BIG box at the Wholesale store) so next Target/BJ's run is the bigger, sans cheek squeezing size 4's! Whoo hooo! It's the little things in life :-)

and no post can be really complete without a picture of me, so here you go! 

Happy Thursday! We are off doing errands today to get me ready to go spend the weekend with Mema & Gramps...Conner will be there too!! Mommy said something about getting Mema a bottle of wine, I mean two little boys age 1 year and 5 months can't be too bad, right?!

Today I felt like we had been lifted up and put right smack in the middle of Kansas...TotoMax was there too...Lots of massive Tornadoes in NC, whodathunkit?

Before the storms came rolling in (again) we went to see my friend Zoe. She was born 2 whole days before me. She had lots of cool toys and we shared lunch a la picnic style on the floor 'cause that's what you do when it rains right? It was wicked awesome! Sorry I had to cut our date short Zoe, my teeth were hurting really really bad!

So I've been told I need to update you more often, sorry about that, just been busy you know LEARNING TO WALK!~! I can now take 4 or 5 steps to someone or something but right now I still can get places waaaaaayyyy faster by crawling. The other problem with the whole walking thing is I want to R-U-N...no really! I start out and then lunge forward with all my might and try to run to you. Ends up not good though.

On to another update. I am a proud owner of two new white teeth coming in at the bottom :-) Mommy is sooo happy she doesn't have to find out if they make baby dentures ;-) I am however not a very happy camper. YEOWH they hurt. I have a fever, it hurts to even breathe and I am just a mopey, clingy, teary little boy - not.fun.at.all.

Okay that's about all that's going on with me, I'll update you when those bad boys pop out (which is hopefully soon) and if I make anymore strides in the walking department. I do have my first "real" haircut Friday with Miss Jennifer. Wish me luck!

Woo hoo

It's May, It's Friday & the pool opens today!!

 It has been said that April showers (you know we've had A LOT) bring May flowers...right? Well how come my Mommy said we "probably" (which is an adult word for no - right Uncle Jare?!) could go swimming today but it is supposed to rain - ALL WEEKEND LONG! What the HEY!? Weather dude, who is most of the time wrong, can you puh-lease be really wrong today?It's the first of May and I have my bathing soup all ready to go :-)
