All about ME {2010 edition}

you asked {some of you anyways}, so I'm going to answer!

I am now *almost* 2 and 1/2

I am the ONLY child

First grandchild on both sides

I have one awesome cousin that is 8 months younger

Here's the 411 on my speech skillz

I was recommended for it by my pediatrician when I was 18 months old. Given my lovely early entry, along with awesome spout of horrible reflux in the beginning and another fun times with hurling from 12 months to 16 months, lets just say my words were few ;)

Started with a rocking speech therapist that comes to my school on Mondays at about 21 months. I have now added TONS of words to my vocabulary. Some I'm not supposed to say {just sayin'} but hey it's talking! Also note I love the end of the words. Mama & Mimi say if they put me a Conner together we would say the whole word ;).

As for number of words I say, Mama will have to count one day but my current faves are:

Onto my new snazzy room! I can't tell you which bedspread Mama will go with yet {it's a surprise!} but Pottery Barn Kids & Restoration Hardware Kids have some she loves. Below is a picture of what it could look like. No promises though!

The 'rents still haven't decided whether I'm getting a new bed once I'm out of the toddler conversion or transitioning my furniture to a double.

Also if anyone wants to stop by and visit, just give me a call. I am now the new owner of a iPhone {although if someone could activate it, that would be AWESOME!)}

Dear Bloggy Stalkers & friends,
I am soo sad that only TWO of you have posted even though I know a whole bunch of you "stalk" everyday to see if I have posted. Do not make me call you out {Rho girls, Auntie's, etc}.

Wordless Wednesday

Trading Spaces

This Sunday, the 'rents decided to move me to the front room which will be my "big boy" room soon. My new room is in the front of the house so no more cul de sac kids waking me up and a bonus, it gets mega sunlight and I have a HUGE walk in closet to play hide n' seek in!

Soon those yellow stripes will be gone and the bed converted!

until then, I'm hanging out in my bright sunny room!
{yes I am still in my crib. I can climb in but will not climb out yet}

so my 'rents try to keep me from going up and down the stairs a bazillion times a day with a little wooden gate that just sits in between the slats. {a little 411, I can break down the one upstairs by running into it hard enough}. So one would think they would wise up and install one since I am soo he-man like...yeah, nope! :)

So I did what any two year old boy would do, I tried to figure out how to get it down! Clearly I succeeded and now you know why my Mommy & Daddy call me "Holdini"!
