I don't know if you know but I love water! I now throw down and haul tail to the bathroom whenever I hear the bath water running or the shower turn on. 'Rents think its pretty dang funny and I have "jumped" in with my clothes on before - betcha you can't guess who was watching me then! (hint it wasn't Mommy). Anyways back to my story...Me, Daddy and Mommy went to NC State on Sunday to walk around, see some things on Hillsborough Street, eat breakfast, take my picture on the bricks... you know the drill - So while we were there I saw a pretty pond so can you guess what happened next?!

I tried to go swimming of course! My face says it ALL - PUH-LEASE!!!

hehe - you guys are SUCKERS!

and finally I got to splash in the water!

Good thing breakfast came after that, cause I was not a happy camper to leave. I should clarify the breakfast - it was actually breakfast #3 for me! I had already eaten twice that morning. What can I say, I'm a growing boy! :-)

HAPPY 6 month Birthday to my FAVORITE CUZ and BUDDY!

Since you are a half a year old today, lets talk about all you can do and how much fun you have had already on this crazy world post inside the tummy.

We were sooo excited on your BIRTHDAY, we all waited in the hospital for you to arrive and thought Uncle B aka your Daddy was lying when he said you were a WHOPPIN' 8 pounds, 8 ounces to little Aunt Jamie! We camped out in Wilson ALL day so we could hold you and hang out. I looked at you in the nursery then would not leave Aunt Jamie aka your Mommy alone and sat with her since everyone else was holding you.

When you were 4 months old, we started noticing each other more and Aunt Jamie and my Mommy tried to get some pictures of us together - ha - that didn't happen 'cause I just stole your paci the entire time, but you did look quite studly in all the pictures! We also have BOTH spent the night with Mema & Gramps and it was a blast!!

SO...now you are 6 months OLD and can do lots of neat things! You are sitting up and playing with your toys and rolling over lots! You also love to laugh and "talk" up a storm! You love to be held and are a fan of your excersaucer too. We went to the park together a few weekends ago and it was your very first ride on the slide and in the swings! YOU LOVED IT!!

This birthday of yours has been kinda hard though since you are sick :( This week you got diagnosed with bi-lateral pneumonia and then yesterday the doctors found out you have two ear infections!! Even though you are sick and keeping your 'rents up at night (HAHA) you are still one special little guy and I am soo glad you are my cuz!

You now weight 16 pounds and 8 ounces and are a big fan of the baby food :-) Keep on eating and growing because trust me - big people food is even better than that!!! So party like a rockstar and remember our baby motto - sleep is for the weak! (that's for you Uncle B & Aunt Jamie) and remember when we are both better we need a sleepover soon!

Monkey Business

I know you miss me! We have been SLAMMED busy! I know, I know - same story, different day but for realz I have been on the go! We went to the beach this past weekend for 3 days and the crazy mama-ratzi was so busy she only got a few pictures (you can get your jaw off the floor now!) Here are a few from the house that Gigi & Grumps (formally known as Hootie) rented. It was a blast. Congrats to Megan & Christopher (my cousin) on their marriage and thanks for the chicken nuggets too! Now without further adieu here are the few pictures she took of me playing inside.
