holy macaroni! for those of you who haven't heard or do not yet know, I spent my 11 month birthday at the ER, although I was home by 1:15 so not quite 11 months yet, but ya know.

I had not such a good day on Tuesday, and was totally not buying the pedialyte gig anymore, so lots of barfs and stuff just flowing out the other end, no pee diapies, off I went to the Emergency Room with Mommy & Daddy to make sure I wasn't so dehydrated that I'd get really sick.

Good news is that I was able to keep a popsicle down after I REFUSED their little apple juice/pedialtye concoction. Like I didn't know what was in the bottle. Also I did not have to get an IV because I was just on the verge of dehydration and they do not like putting those in little kids (like me) unless they absolutely have too.

Bad news, I did have to have a catheter put in - Note to self - Not something to be repeated - like EVER! Also, I went to have an X-Ray "just to check", but we all know the hospital that shall remain nameless just wanted some more of my 'rents dough! P.S. The X-RAY thing is just a nice name for a torture device. Really, I am soooo not kidding. Mommy got to go with me, but all she could do was hold my arms up in the air as I got encased in a plastic burrito maker for kids. NOT SO MUCH FUN!!!
The nice people did give me a prescription for the medicine my parents took when they were sick, so as of now I am able to keep some gatorade/water down and a yummy popsicle. :-)
So $150, popsicle, and not so fun tests, we are back home. Poor Daddy had to go to work today while I am trying to sleep some, but really just want to be cuddled with my Mommy and watch some cartoons. Is that too much to ask? Me think not.
Happy 11 Months to me!
Poor pitiful Holden
